Corey Maggette à Oakland

Corey Maggette (22,1 de moyenne la saison passée) ne restera pas aux Los Angeles Clippers. Courtisé par les Detroit Pistons, le free agent a finalement choisi de rejoindre Golden State, avec un contrat de 50 millions de dollars à la clé, sur cinq ans.

Turiaf d’accord avec les Warriors

Press-Entreprise rapporte que le français Ronny Turiaf, restricted free agent, se serait engagé avec les Golden State Warriors.

Turiaf signerait un contrat de 4 ans pour 17 millions de dollars. Comme la loi sur les restricted free agents le permet, les Lakers ont 7 jours pour concurrencé cette offre et ainsi garder Ronny Turiaf.
Le club étant largement au-dessus de la marge salariale (NDRL: environ 58 millions alors que les Lakers ont une masse de 75 millions de dollars avec seulement 10 joueurs dans l'effectif actuel), il est peu probable qu'il s'aligne sur l'offre de son voisin d'Oakland.
Les Lakers avait fait une offre initiale d'environ 1 million de dollars le 1er juillet. Offre faible qui, comme on pouvait s'en doutait, ne conviendrait pas à Ronny.
